Welcome to Ro's Garden…
Relaxation
Find a Place to Breathe is a CD designed to help you relax by playing you the natural sounds of Northumberland.
Lasting approximately 40 minutes, each of the four landscape tracks is about 10 minutes long, which is just enough time to let you catch your breath after a busy day. Even if you can only manage a few minutes, let the sounds restore and refresh you.
To purchase your copy of the CD, please email rosgarden@btopenworld.com or contact Chris Hartnell (Northern Heritage) on Tel 0800 716959 or email chris@northern-heritage.co.uk.

Rosemary Matheson
Ro's Garden and the Find a Place to Breathe CD is the brainchild of Rosemary Matheson. Ro studied geography for four years at the University of St Andrews. At the same time she fell in love with Northumberland during journeys between Scotland and Yorkshire at the beginning and end of each university term. Mostly travelling on the train, the East Coast route allows views of the wonderful Northumberland coast, which she then explored with her parents at the end of the summer terms.
After university Ro trained as a nurse in Sheffield before marrying Colin, a fellow geographer. They have been fortunate to live in nice places in Germany, Berkshire, Hampshire, the Cambridgeshire Fens and, for 10 years, Northumberland. As keen orienteers, with their 2 sons, they have visited and explored some of the more remote and beautiful parts of the British Isles. Also, armed with detailed orienteering maps, they have run round the streets and parks of several towns and villages in the North-East, including Tynemouth, Cramlington, and Morpeth.
